In or about January of 2010, WWJT-LP became WWJT-LD and began broadcasting a digital television signal on Channel 48 with an effective radiated power of 10 kW which is considered low power. Digital television allows the station to indicate a virtual channel number. While WWJT-LD actually broadcasted on Channel 48, digital television sets receiving the channel indicated that this station was Channel 7.
On January 1, 2014, the call letters were changed to WEFG-LD. The station is currently owned by Philadelphia Television Network, Inc.
