There were a lot of Red Sox fans at Wednesday’s game. There were so many fans cheering for the visiting team that sometimes I wondered if I was really in Boston.
This reminded me of the time that I saw the Atlanta Braves versus the Florida Marlins at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami, FL. It was on Saturday, July 2, 1994. The Florida Marlins was a 1993 expansion team. Before this, the only Major League Baseball team south of Baltimore, MD and east of Texas was the Atlanta Braves. There were so many fans cheering for the visiting team that I wondered if I was really in Atlanta.
