My electric train layout in my basement. It is complete for the time being. I started with my kids' old play pool table top (About 40 inches by 75 inches). I placed it on top of an old twin-sized boxspring. Track layout including a 90-degree crossover, and two manual switches. Plasticville buildings, and a Lionel train depot. Santa Claus brought me the Silver Star Lionel electric train set on Christmas in 1971. I later purchased the Penn Central boxcar, and the two manual switches. My father gave me the fire station, school, gas station, church, and three houses (red roof, blue roof and brown roof) from his layout when he was a kid. I later purchased the bank, the ranch house and the split-level house. Added another Plasticville house and the Town Hall. Added K-Line 7-11 and hardware store. I made a sign for the hardware store, Sugerman's Eynon Drug Store. Sugerman's was a large local department store on US Route 6, the Scranton-Carbondale Highway in the Eynon section of Archbald, PA. Retired professional wrestler, Rocky Gibraltar moved to town. Changed the track layout in order to better fit the houses and buildings. Added a Lego house. Added the Lego skyscraper and passenger railroad around the downtown area. Added more Lego houses. Added a Lego three-story apartment building. Renovated to add a penthouse with a balcony and loft. Made downtown skyscraper taller. My electric train layout - end state for now.

Again, for a second year in a row, I set up my electric train under the Christmas tree. After we took down the tree, I added more track to my layout, along with more Plasticville buildings. It was fun to get creative with my layout with my space constraint.

My beer website lager57.weebly.com/ Follow me on Facebook www.facebook.com/strippens The Old School thebp.site/57084 For the second year in a row, I set up my electric train under the Christmas tree. Amongst my Plasticville houses, I found some billboards. I had a brainstorm; cut some empty six-pack cartons and insert them into the signs. Luckily, I have a supply of empty six-pack cartons in the garage, in the basement, and my in bedroom closet. (Doesn't everyone?) I did some trial-and-error and got a few that fit well. Viola! (really "Voila!) Billboard signs for some imports and Mickey's for some class. December 26, we will take down the tree, and then I will have real fun with my layout.
